It also sells voluntary supplemental insurance products, including cancer plans, general medical indemnity plans, medical & sickness riders, care plans, living benefit life plans, ordinary life insurance plans and annuities. The Aflac U.S. segment sells voluntary supplemental insurance products including products designed to protect individuals from depletion of assets and loss-of-income products. The company was founded by John Amos, Daniel Paul Amos and William Amos on November 17, 1955 and is headquartered in Columbus, GA.
