Mr Jukes - Angels / Your Love

As part of Jack Steadman of Bombay Bicycle Club’s surprise solo project, Mr Jukes, the track ‘Angels/Your Love’ featuring BJ The Chicago Kid delves into the underworld of jazz, funk and soul. Directed by I Saw John First, this video captures the joy and exuberance of the collaboration between Jack and BJ, bursting in colours and fizzing with energetic transformations. The finished video pulls together bright, ghostly animation and footage of BJ in a surreal combination that twists and turns with the song. Pushing the boundaries of what could be achieved, John used a mashup of techniques with frame by frame animation, rotoscoping, live action and 3D elements all interacting together.
