There's a regular feature in Frankie Magazine called 'Road Test.' Each issue, two people are asked to try and review a bunch of things. In issue #95, they explored the rise of so-called self-care apps, ranging from colouring in, plant watering, recipe organising to healthy habit-forming apps... (really, are they not just a form of digital nagging?!) I created a multi-scene illustration responding to the humour and tongue-in-cheek experiences the reviewers Caro Cooper and Eleanor Robertson wrote about in their reviews. Their impressions? You're much better off DIY-ing self-care.
