Hostel Fish Opening & Launch
I joined the founder of Hostel Fish a few months before the opening to manage operations and to help define the brand. I also created and managed all of the marketing efforts.
To celebrate the grand opening of Denver’s first upscale hostel, we threw a grand opening event with a guest list consisting of top media publications. The goal was to generate buzz, excitement, and press around the opening. Each guest was given the opportunity to stay the night to get the full experience of what the hostel has to offer. The event was catered by Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox, live music by Danielle Hollowell’s band, completed with an aerialist performance. In addition to the grand opening, I led the marketing efforts and PR which resulted in 26 article publications within the first 5 months of the hostel opening.
