Los Angeles Mayor's Feedback

In collaboration with the Los Angeles Innovation Team, we developed a new way for residents to give feedback to City Hall, without having to trudge to a wood-paneled room, and sign up for a 5 minute speaking slot. Instead of forcing people to come to City Hall, we went to the residents with a first prototype of a mobile listening pop-up at a community college jobs fair. We believe that the ideas emerge when we design - not for - the people who live here. We created a landscape of interaction station so that residents who pass by can decide for themselves how involved they can get, with each station allowing residents to give meaningful feedback.
