Grow with Google

As an Illustrator and Designer on this campaign, I was initially tasked with creating an illustrated set of characters and a branded identity that extends into Merchandise, Social posts, flyers and templates. Context: As part of Google’s commitment to helping skill the Black community, the Grow With Google (GWG) job seeker resources In partnership with the Divine Nine sororities (Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Sigma Gamma Rho, Zeta Phi Beta), The Links, and Dress for Success, Google wants to provide a series of customized GWG workshops focused on women’s empowerment, the job search/application process, career development, and peer mentorship. ‍ This collaboration — the first of its kind that unites Black sororities, the largest Black-women volunteer organization, and Dress for Success — will help 100k Black women build digital skills that are critical for employment in today’s digital economy.
