BACKGROUND
Cricut is a creative technology company that develops hardware, software, and content that support our mission of helping people lead creative lives. Please note: this role is not remote. You will be required to work in our South Jordan, Utah office a few times a week.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The Art Director role is an incredible opportunity to help shape this special brand and develop it into a global icon. We are looking for an extremely talented, dynamic leader to create and produce outstanding, innovative, impactful creative for a multitude of digital initiatives at Cricut.

Working closely with the Creative Director, Designers, and Copywriters, the AD is responsible for the creative vision of a project as well as being able to lead multi-disciplinary teams to a successful outcome. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic and conceptual thinking with a strong, high quality aesthetic sense in execution. While we work with a variety of touch-points, core areas of focus include front-end design of the Cricut website, user experience, ecomm & interactive design.

MUST HAVES:
· Stellar portfolio showcasing exceptional strategic, innovative, and impactful design solutions
· Minimum 8-10 years of experience; agency experience a plus
· Excellent technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro. Bonus for motion.
· Experience designing for consumer products, web, e-commerce, interactive and retail.
