Hot Damn! it's a Freelance job

Major League Soccer (MLS) is looking for a versatile Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of our rapidly evolving digital product offering. Working within the UX Design team, you will help craft industry-leading UI experiences for our fans, partners, and key stakeholders.

We're looking to bring in a freelance UX/UI generalist who can work with our UX Design team and assist with the design of new experiences across the MLS Mobile App, League & Club websites, and fan engagement platforms, including 2023 gaming initiatives.

We want to bring in someone passionate about digital sports experiences. The primary focus of the work will touch on our website and mobile app products, so having a solid working knowledge of mobile and web design best practices is critical. A secondary focus will be packaging approved designs and submitting them to our engineering partners. Submissions may include specs, annotations, and low-fidelity prototypes.

We will provide access to our Design System, including the baseline approach to all our UX/UI work here at MLS. Additionally, each project you touch will be attached to a design sprint, and the kick-off brief for each deliverable will provide the functional & end-user requirements.

You are never on an island at MLS, and we encourage open communication, which takes place on Slack, Zoom, or, if you're local, in person when the situation calls for it.
