AREA 17 is looking for a Freelance UX Designer in Brooklyn, NY, USA.
AREA 17 is looking for a UX Designer to join an upcoming project in our Brooklyn, NY studio.
As a UX Designer, you’ll help drive the strategy and uphold the vision for the brands and digital products that we design, build and grow. The UX Designer serves as a key consultant of projects on our teams, embedded in multidisciplinary work streams and supporting projects on a day-to-level with clear vision and insights.
The project focus will be to organize and centralize the primary corporate communication channel for a global manufacturer of fitness shoes and apparel across 6 decentralized and disconnected sites. Our goal is to create a dynamic curation system the speaks to their contributions on global, regional and local communities as well as simplifies publishing flow across disparate user groups, audits their current ecosystem to understand the gaps, and creates a system around content and UX that simplifies user flows and accomplishes their brand, business and user goals.
In the UX role, we’re looking for someone senior, who thinks modularly and can think of content data models around user flows (i.e. how they relate to brand / business goals, have repeatable modules) and then inform how we would re-architect a system around new user flows.
This will be a multi-disciplinary collaboration with the project team (Producer, Product Director, Strategist, UX Designer, Product Designer and Tech Director) and a full-time lift.
